3. Fill your squirt bottle or garden sprayer with the wallpaper removal solution according to the manufactures direction. Spray the wall starting at the top moving in about four foot sections. Repeat this step about three times, until the wall is completely saturated. Do not over saturate as it can cause damage if it gets too wet.
Once the damaged wallpaper has been removed, you will need to remove any excess glue residue before proceeding. Use your hot water and cloth again for this step. You will probably need to add a bit of dishwashing detergent to your hot water in order to completely remove all of the glue. Make certain the wall is fully dry before going to the next step.
Another interesting use for wallpaper that I have already talked about is paper-mache. Just as with any other type of paper, wallpaper can be used in a paper-mache project. One might even say wallpaper is a natural fit for such an undertaking, as many use wallpaper glue to make the paste that is essential to the paper-mache process. Yet paper-mache is not the only art or craft leftover wallpaper can be used for. Many mothers and daughters have used old or leftover wallpaper scraps to decorate dollhouses. Why cant your dolls have the same kind of beautiful and decorative wallpaper that you have? Speaking of dollhouses, many children have used wallpaper to make paper dolls. Clearly, these arent dolls that can be used in a standard dollhouse, but they will entertain children nonetheless.
