1. The first step is to prepare by removing all furniture away from the wall and cover it with plastic drop cloths or tarps. Also cover all flooring with drop cloths, unless you are in an area with tile floors in which case you can leave uncovered.
The size of the mural depends on what the theme mural is and how light or heavy the painting on the tiles are. Keeping in mind the whole concept for the mural is to be a focal point not an eyesore.
Be extremely careful when cutting around corners around doors and windows, because the paper is extremely gentle and you might accidentally damage the sheet.
